Village Bazaar Flea Market Vendor Rules & Guidelines

Thank you for being a vendor at Village Bazaar! Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable shopping experience for everyone. Please follow the rules below.

Booth Reservations & Payment

To make reserving a space as convenient as possible, vendors may choose to pay online when booking or pay upon arrival at the market.

Please note: During weekends that become fully booked or have a waiting list, Village Bazaar will require advance online payment to secure your reservation.

If advance payment is requested, payment must be completed by the deadline provided. Reservations that remain unpaid may be released to vendors on the waiting list who are ready to pay, ensuring all booth spaces are filled.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as this helps us provide every vendor with a fair opportunity to participate.

Booth Space

  • Each vendor is renting one designated 10' x 10' booth space. Please consign your merchandise to your immediate area.

  • If you need additional space, please contact management about renting another booth.

Parking

  • Vendors may temporarily park near their booth while unloading and setting up.

  • Once setup is complete, all vendor vehicles must be moved to the designated vendor parking area.

  • The only exception is for vendors displaying a valid handicap parking placard or license plate and who have been approved by management.

Hours

  • Vendors can arrive as early as 6:30 am.

  • Vendors should be set up and ready for customers by opening time. (8 am)

  • Please remain open during market hours whenever possible.

  • If you need to leave early, notify management in advance.

Cleanliness

  • Keep your booth clean and organized.

  • Please remove all trash from your booth at the end of each day.

  • Do not leave unwanted merchandise, boxes, or trash around the buildings. Place all your trash in dumpsters. Trash cans are for day use and guests.

Safety

  • Keep aisles clear at all times for customers, wheelchairs, and emergency access.

  • Secure tents, shelves, and displays so they cannot tip over.

  • Do not block the middle lanes, entrances, exits, or neighboring booths.

Respect for Other Vendors

  • Be courteous and respectful to fellow vendors and customers.

  • Loud music, excessive noise, or disruptive behavior is not permitted.

Prohibited Items

The following items may not be sold:

  • Illegal items

  • Counterfeit or stolen merchandise

  • Fireworks or explosives

  • Tobacco, vaping products, or alcohol (unless specifically approved by management)

  • Any item prohibited by local, state, or federal law

Management reserves the right to require the removal of any item deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

Pets

  • Friendly, well-behaved pets are welcome if they remain under control on a leash at all times.

  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Weather

  • Vendors are responsible for securing their merchandise during windy or severe weather.

  • Village Bazaar is not responsible for loss or damage caused by weather, theft, or accidents.

  • We are open rain or shine; if you choose not to come during inclement weather, you are required to still pay for your booth.

  • Booth Responsibility

  • Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, money, displays, and personal property.

  • Village Bazaar is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Rule Violations

Please follow these rules; otherwise, you may be asked to leave and may not be permitted to be a vendor in the future at Village Bazaar.

Thank you for helping us make Village Bazaar a fun, safe, and welcoming place for everyone!

Note from Michael:

Dear vendors, this is a new venture we are providing you a place to set up, display, and sell your wares. We are doing everything possible with signs, media, and posters to attract people and attention to our new market bazaar. Our hours are from 8:00 am to 4 pm, rain or shine.

One of the biggest complaints that I am hearing from vendors is a lack of people or customers. One of the biggest complaints I hear from customers is a lack of vendors. Makes me think of the old question "what came first, the chicken or the egg?". If I was a customer on a Sunday afternoon, I would be disappointed about the lack of vendors and tell 12 people about it. A discouraged person tells twelve people; a happy person tells three. I understand personal reasons, but please try to do your best to maintain our business hours; it is for your own good and for the good of the market bazaar.
